Lot Description

A 19th century oak and mahogany cased eight day painted dial longcase clock, John Hudson, Nottingham, the dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date wheel indicator, within gilt painted floral spandrels, the square shaped hood above a shell inlaid trunk door flanked by fluted columns, upon a stepped base, 82.75" (210.25cm) high, face plate 12.25" (31.25cm) square.
