A pair of 1930's silver mounted nut crackers, each with personal presentation engraving. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Sheffield 1932. Length measuring 5 3/8 inches (13.7 cm), gross weight 14.47 ozt (450 grams).

Both displaying general surface wear and tarnishing in keeping with the age and use. Some surface scratches and nicks. Hinges appear in good working order. Hallmarks clear and legible.
Inscription reads 'Dr. Geoffrey Dudley, on his resignation as Medical Officer of Health to the Borough of Stourbridge; from the Officials of the Public Health Department. 31st October, 1939.'
