Both items displaying some tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The enamel front to the cigarette case is quite heavily marked with scratches and surface nicks. There are also two small holes suggesting that at one time something was applied to the front, maybe an armorial or monogram? Hinges and clasp appear in good working order. Silver-gilt interior displays some tarnishing and dirt marks. Hinged lid to cigarette box also appears in good working order. Slightly heavier wear around edges and corners and there appears to be a small seam repair to corner mount on the underside of the box. Some rubbing to the hallmarks on both pieces but all legible.
