A mid-eighteenth century nutmeg grater, of ovoid shape and decorated throughout with flowers, foliage and scroll motifs, with screw thread opening to reveal a removable rasp. Maker's mark only to interior, 'DF' and attributed to David Field. Height measuring 4.5 cm, gross weight 25 grams.
