Lot Description

A late Victorian silver goblet, the circular bowl engraved with floral and foliate scroll motifs and presentation engraving to one side, raised on a beaded knop stem to a spread base further engraved within a repeated bead border. Hallmarked John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater, London 1887. Height 8 3/8 inches (21.3 cm), weight 8.74 ozt (271.7 grams).

Appears quite tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. Otherwise appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Hallmarks rubbed and partly worn but still legible.
