Lot Description

A late Victorian silver footed dish of lozenge form, the lobed and fluted outline decorated in relief with stylised leaf border further repeated to the foot. Hallmarked R & S Garrard & Co (James Garrard), London 1893. Maximum length measuring 10 1/8 inches (25.7 cm), weight 14.36 ozt (446.7 grams).

The dish appears in good overall condition, displaying some tarnishing and some surface wear, marks and scratches in keeping with the age and use. A few heavier scratches and nicks visible to the plain centre. Hallmarks a little rubbed but still clearly legible.
