A Victorian silver bowl, the circular body upon spreading foot with oblique fluting, rising to an embossed frieze depicting stags, dogs and birds, and twin opposed vacant cartouches within a foliate background. Hallmarked William Hunter, London 1850. Diameter measuring 5 3/4 inches (14.5cm), weight 9.31 ozt (289.5 grams).

Condition Report
In fair overall condition, the bowl displays some heavy tarnishing throughout, also general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. A few minor dints and bumps. Some slight rubbing and loss of surface detail to decoration but overall still good. One split to part of rim. Hallmarks clear and legible.
