Both pieces displaying some tarnishing and expected surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Meat skewer has a slight undulation and numerous little surface nicks, especially around the edges. The tip displays some deeper marks and has lost its sharpness, now quite rounded. Hallmarks clear and legible with partial distortion to maker's mark. The sugar tongs have retained good shape and alignment, some wear around edges and tip of bowls but they have generally faired well. Hallmarks clear and legible.
