A 1920's silver toast rack, of inverted heart shape with seven wire bars, a similarly shaped handle and raised on an open oblong frame with four ball feet. Hallmarked Stokes & Ireland Ltd., Chester 1920. Maximum length measuring 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm), weight 6.11 ozt (190 grams).

Displaying some tarnishing and general surface wear, marks and scratches in keeping with the age and use. A few dints and knocks. A couple of breaks and possible repairs at joins of bars to base frame. Dark residues of polish or solder around joins of feet, further possible repairs? Hallmarks clear and legible.
