A twentieth century silver sauce boat, of plain form with curved stained wooden handle, hallmarked S Blanckensee & Son Ltd, Chester 1938, and a later matched saucer by the same maker, hallmarked Birmingham 1947. Together with a further silver sauce boat, with frilled rim and scrolled handle, raised upon three hoof feet, hallmarked Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd, London 1937, and two modern cream jugs, the first example of plain bellied form and scrolled handle, raised upon three stylised paw feet, hallmarked Birmingham 1991, the second of plain cylindrical form and hallmarked Birmingham 1994, each with maker's mark BCC.
