Lot Description
A twentieth century silver sauce boat, of plain form with curved stained wooden handle, hallmarked S Blanckensee & Son Ltd, Chester 1938, and a later matched saucer by the same maker, hallmarked Birmingham 1947. Together with a further silver sauce boat, with frilled rim and scrolled handle, raised upon three hoof feet, hallmarked Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd, London 1937, and two modern cream jugs, the first example of plain bellied form and scrolled handle, raised upon three stylised paw feet, hallmarked Birmingham 1991, the second of plain cylindrical form and hallmarked Birmingham 1994, each with maker's mark BCC. Total weight 24.47 ozt (761.2 grams). (5).

Condition Report
In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
Chester hallmarked saucer boat with nicks particular to foot, and area of foot slightly misshapen, stained wooden handle slightly faded.
London hallmarked sauce boat with small nick to the lip.
Bellied form cream jug with slightly misshapen lip, and visible circular seam/construction line to base, also visible to interior.
