Lot Description

An Edwardian silver three piece condiment set, comprising an open salt and mustard pot with blue glass liners and associated later spoon, and a pepper pot, each raised upon three shell feet and with gadroon detail, hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., London 1904. Together with a George V silver mustard pot with blue glass liner and associated later spoon, hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1914, and a pair of 1920's open salts with blue glass liners, hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1926. Gross weight 11.08 ozt (344.7 grams).

In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

Pepperette lid shut tight, still contains pepper. Blue glass liners in good condition overall, some very small nicks to edges. Both mustard pots and salts with contact marks to interior from glass liners.
