An early 20th century 18ct gold and platinum, synthetic ruby and diamond ring. Designed as a square-shape synthetic ruby and single-cut diamond rectangular chequerboard panel, with tapered shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Ring size N. Weight 4.3gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/wear and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Some damage to the gallery. Metal split at either side.
<li>Appears to have been recently polished to a high finish.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Diamonds bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Diamonds with some small light inclusions under 10x magnification, same surface reaching.
<li>Synthetic rubies are a well matched medium slightly pinkish red hue, well saturated.<p>
<li>Synthetic rubies in good to fair condition with minor to moderate abrasions.<p>
