An early 20th century platinum and gold, freshwater cultured pearl and diamond brooch. Designed as a pearl drop, with rose-cut diamond cap, suspended from a scrolling heart-shape openwork surround, set throughout with old and rose-cut diamonds. Verbal from GCS, stating cultured, freshwater. Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 1.50cts, H-J colour, SI clarity. Length 4.1cms. Weight 8.9gms.
