Lot Description

A Scottish provincial silver teaspoon with a Fiddle or Oar pattern terminal, possible maker's mark for John McKenzie, Dumfries, circa 1820. Together with a George III silver Old English pattern table spoon with bright cut engraved stem and monogrammed terminal, hallmarked London 1785 and also struck with the Duty Draw-back mark, plus a further Georgian table spoon bottom struck three times to stem reverse with maker's mark 'E.O', no further marks visible. Weight 4.45 ozt (138.7 grams). (3).
