Lot Description
A pair of late Victorian silver-gilt spoons, each with plain oval bowl and stem leading to a terminal modelled as a Viking, hallmarked Francis Higgins III, London 1892, length 7 1/2 inches (19 cm). Together with a pair of Victorian silver serving tongs, hallmarked Martin, Hall & Co, Sheffield 1867, a Scottish provincial silver toddy ladle, possibly for John McQueen, Banff, circa 1825-30, a further silver-gilt spoon with crown surmount, a pair of Irish silver napkin rings and various other flatware, etc. Gross silver weight 23.89 ozt (743 grams).
