Lot Description
An Edwardian silver planter of circular form, the shaped rim with applied scroll border above a moulded girdle to a plain body and footed base. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., London 1907. Height measuring 5 1/8 inches (13 cm), diameter 6 1/4 inches (16 cm), weight 13.16 ozt (409.4 grams).

Condition Report
Appears in fair overall condition, displaying some general expected surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Also some tarnishing with some significant heavier staining to the interior. Some rubbing and wear to surface detail of applied rim border. Knock to foot rim causing slight compression on one side and a slight wobble. Hallmarks rubbed but legible, also with impressed maker's name to underside of foot.
