Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver mounted combination penknife, button hook and propelling pencil, the case of oblong form with personal engraving to the front, retractable pen knife and button hook to either side, and three propelling pencils to the reverse within cylindrical casing. Hallmarked William Hornby, London 1912. Length 2 3/4 inches (7 cm).

Condition Report
The tool appears in a fairly worn overall condition, with scratches, indentations, knocks and tarnishing. Losses and damage to the coloured enamel circles, especially the blue. Mechanisms stiff and do not work well. Hallmarks a little rubbed or black with tarnish but all still legible.
