Appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some slight loss of surface detail or definition to areas of the decoration. Slight compression to the centre of the case. Some likely solder repairs around edges, especially the lower rounded corners. Hinged lid appears in good working order. Hallmarks are quite rubbed and distorted, especially the lion passant and Victoria head.
