Appears tarnished throughout with surface markings from the tissue paper it has been wrapped in, and would benefit from a clean and polish. Displaying some expected surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Several surface dints and bruises and some surface nicks. Hinged lid with some slight sideways movement. Possible repairs around top of handle/thumb-piece as the surface appears quite pitted. Interior later gilded, heavier scratches visible to interior base. Hallmarks located to underside of base with matching full hallmarks to interior of lid. Handle appears unmarked. Hallmarks appear a little rubbed with some slight distortion but all still legible.
