Lot Description

A George III Irish silver cream jug, of bulbous form with curved handle, the body with alternate banded and plain fluting beneath a lobed border and engraved armorial motif. Hallmarked Thomas Jones (probably), Dublin, missing date letter, circa 1780 - 1791. Height 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), weight 3.93 ozt (122.4 grams).
