A 19th century burr walnut box, of rectangular form with studded and floral engraved brass mounts, the hinged domed cover with inset oval hand painted porcelain plaque depicting a cherub holding a quiver, opening to reveal burgundy plush lined interior, 4.25" x 4.25" x 8.25" (11cm x 11cm x 21cm).
