Appears quite tarnished, possibly originally gilded throughout but now faded. Displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age. Visible seam line and a couple of minor dints. Slight knocks to base rim. Lid with bayonet style fitting, with slight movement. Slight loss of detail to areas of the decoration but overall still good. Hallmarks located in the decoration and repeated to lid, slight distortion but all legible.
