An early 20th century gold sapphire and diamond brooch. Designed as a pearl, with rose-cut diamond and cushion-shape sapphire heart-shape surrounds, to the similarly-set terminal knife-edge bar. Length 4.4cms. Weight 8.2gms. Pearl untested.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One terminal slightly bent.
<li>A few diamonds with small chips.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>One sapphire chipped to pavilion, another one with small chip to crown.
<li>Sapphires are a well matched deep blue hue in overall good condition with minor abrasions only.
<li>Pearl untested for natural origin, in good condition with minor abrasions. Glue residue visible to base.
