Lot Description
Two late 19th century gold brooches. The first designed as a circular-shape ruby and split pearl asymmetric bar brooch, the second a memorial brooch designed as an oval-shape split pearl and blue enamel star atop a textured and bead detail surround to the glazed panel reverse. The first stamped 15CT. Lengths 4.9 and 4.1cms. Weight 11.2gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Bar brooch with replacement pin, soft solder visible.
<li>Memorial brooch glazed panel reverse is in good condition.
<li>All stones in good to fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges / surfaces.<p>
<li>Enamel is in good to fair condition, small chips to the enamel on the edges of a few star points.
<li>Memorial brooch testing as 15ct gold.
