Lot Description

Three gold memorial rings. To include a 15ct gold Edwardian split pearl ring within a black enamel surround, an 18ct gold late 19th century ring with woven hair panel to the black enamel 'in memory' band, together with a similarly aged memorial ring. The first with hallmarks for Chester, 1901, the second with partial hallmarks for London. Total weight 12.7gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li> Ring with hair panel, part of the band has had some alterations. A large amount of the enamel on the band is deficent.

<li>Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.

<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>

<li> One band is out of shape. <p>

<Li> Some stones are replacements. <p>

<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>

<li> Ring sizes  L, Q1/2 and T1/2.
