A late Victorian gold diamond and split pearl star brooch.

Lot Description
A late Victorian gold diamond and split pearl star brooch. The old-cut diamond and split pearl cluster, with split pearl ray surround and spacers. May be worn as a pendant. Estimated diamond weight 0.25ct, H-I colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Length 3.5cms. Weight 12.6gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Hinged pendant fitting to reverse. Brooch fitting detachable.<p>
<li>Diamond fairly bright, with light and dark scattered inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in good condition with some abrasions. One split pearl chipped.<p>
<li>Split pearls have a creamy body colour with rose and olive overtones <p>
<li>Some stones are possible replacements.<p>
