KUTCHINSKY - a 1960s 18ct gold diamond lapis lazuli ring. The graduated, grooved lapis lazuli asymmetric terminals, with brilliant-cut diamond accent overlapping bar sides, to the grooved band. Maker's marks for Kutchinsky. Estimated total diamond weight 0.60ct. Hallmarks for London, 1969. Approximate ring size K. Weight 17.9gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band has been resized, with small dents and discolouration. The band is now off round.
<li>The larger lapis lazuli has broken into at least two pieces and re-assembled. Glue visible across the lapis lazuli.
<li>Diamonds bright and well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Few, small, scattered inclusions.
<li>Lapis lazuli untested for natural colour origin.
<li>Lapis are a mottled very slightly violetish blue, through dark blue and very slightly greenish blue hue. Calcite and pyrite visible.
<li>Length of ring head 2.9cms.
