An 18ct gold gem-set bear brooch. Designed as a seated cub, with textured fur, chrysoprase eyes, sapphire nose and ruby accent foot pads, holding ruby flowers. Signed Reba, Festival des Animaux. French assay marks. Length 3.6cms. Weight 14.8gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, slight discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Some wear to mounts.
<li>The sapphire is significantly chipped. Diameter of sapphire mount approximately 2mms.
<li>Rubies are a well matched pinkish red hue, surface reaching inclusions.
<li>Also stamped mm, depose to the panels to the reverse.
