Lot Description
An early 20th century gold and platinum, zircon and diamond cluster ring. The rectangular-shape blue zircon, with old-cut diamond rectangular halo, to the pierced foliate gallery and old-cut diamond line shoulders. Estimated dimensions of zircon 10 by 8 by 4.6mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct. Ring size P1/2. Weight 6.6gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band shows evidence of resizing.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Diamonds bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Diamonds generally with small light and dark inclusions under 10x magnification.
<li>One of the diamonds to the surround has some small chips to one side.
<li>Zircon is a medium, slightly greenish blue hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity, feather inclusion extending across one corner of the table facet, thin, eye visible. Moderate windowing effect observable through the centre.<p>
<li>Zircon with typical abrasions and nibbles to facet edges.<p>
<li>Length of ring head 1.6cms.
