A late Victorian silver and gold, Burmese ruby and diamond brooch. The cushion-shape ruby and old-cut diamond openwork flower head, with circular-shape ruby surround. May be worn as a pendant. Verbal from GCS, stating one synthetic, remaining Burma, no heat. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80ct. Diameter 2.9cms. Weight 9.1gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear.

<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
<li>Diamonds with moderate to profuse inclusions, surface reaching. One chipped.
<li>Rubies are a well matched slightly purplish red hue. Eye visible and surface reaching inclusions to some.
