KUTCHINSKY - a 1960s 18ct gold diamond and lapis lazuli pendant. Comprising two brilliant-cut diamond and textured petal flowers, to the scroll grooved lapis lazuli sides with brilliant-cut diamond asymmetric cluster terminals. Converted from a brooch, original pin loose but present. Maker's marks for Kutchinsky. Estimated total diamond weight 2cts. Length 7.8cms. Weight 49.9gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Piece has been converted from a brooch. The original brooch clasp remains attached. The pin hinge sides still remain. The brooch pin is loose but present. Possibly re-convertible.
<li>Glue visible to reverse of lapis lazuli panels.
<li>Diamond panels to the flowers are slightly loose.
<li>Diamonds bright and well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Diamonds appear a good colour. Varied, mostly minor inclusions, mostly estimated VS2-SI1 clarity.
<li>Lapis lazuli untested for natural colour origin.
<li>Lapis lazuli appears a slightly mottled deep blue hue. Natural surface reaching inclusions and slight pyrite visible.
