Lot Description

An Egyptian silver lidded box of circular form, the removable cover engraved with fish and further stylised foliate detail, with Egyptian assay marks including the 'cat' National mark and Arabic date letter, circa 1940, diameter 3" (7.5cm). Together with a Spanish silver filigree ashtray, with the pentagram mark, and a white metal rectangular box, with engraved foliate decoration and further embossed detail to the hinged lid depicting birds amongst stylised vines, indistinctly marked, length 8" (20cm). Weighable silver 5.61 ozt (174.7 grams). (3).
