Lot Description

A late Victorian silver six division cigarette case, with vertical banded decoration throughout, hallmarked William Thorneywork, Birmingham 1897. Together with a 1940's silver cigarette case of rectangular form with engine turned decoration and engraved monogram to upper left hand corner, hallmarked Birmingham 1941, plus a silver plated example. Length of largest 5" (13cm), gross weighable silver 7.37 ozt (229.3 grams). (3).

First example heavily dented and knocked.

Second example with a number of small indentations, nicks to edges, and some larger knocks. Case closes to but gaps visible to either side.
