Lot Description

An Edwardian silver cup of cylindrical form with flared rim and twin curved handles, with embossed part fluting to lower body and vacant circular panel within foliate scroll surround, with oblique gadrooned girdle above. Hallmarked M Friedlander & Co, Chester 1907, with Britannia standard marks. Height 3.5" (9cm), weight 5.72 ozt (178 grams).

A number of dents and indentations, throughout. Cup misshapen in parts and unsteady on base.

Some splits to handles and to cup where upper part of one handle is joined. Possible solder repairs to cup where handles are joined.
