Lot Description

A William IV plain silver caddy spoon, with shovel shape bowl, hallmarked Ledsam, Vale & Wheeler, Birmingham 1830, length 3.5" (9 cm). Together with a mid-twentieth century silver cased 'Yard-o-Led' pencil, hallmarked London 1957. (2).

Both items displaying some expected surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing.

Caddy spoon with a few minor surface dints and bumps. Handle appears at a slight angle, possibly not original to the bowl? Hallmarks located to bowl and are clear and legible.

Pencil with a few minor surface dints. Engraving of 'Yard-o-led' quite heavily worn. Hallmarks also rubbed but still legible. Lead is present but cannot guarantee working order.
