A George III silver lidded jug, the shaped footed base rising to a fluted vase shape body below a waisted neck and domed, hinged lid with urn finial, having stipple punched borders throughout, initial engraving to one side and a wicker bound scroll handle. Hallmarked John Denzilow, London 1792. Height to finial 12" (30.5 cm), gross weight 25.82 ozt (803 grams).

Condition Report
Appears in fairly good overall condition, some tarnishing throughout and would benefit from a clean and polish.
General surface wear, marks and scratches consistent with age.
Some minor surface dints and bumps and many surface nicks throughout.
Hinged lid appears in good working order and closes flush.
Slight cracks in the metal in the section just below the finial, possible repair?
Darker areas around some joins.
Hallmarks located to underside with maker's mark and lion passant repeated to lid, all clearly legible.
