Lot Description

A George III silver goblet, the plain circular bowl with raised central girdle embossed with repeated palmette motifs, above a short stem to a hexagonal foot with reeded detail. Hallmarked to foot only London 1812, maker's mark partly rubbed, probably Thomas Richards. Height 6.25" (16 cm), weight 10.25 ozt (319 grams).
