Lot Description

A Minton Secessionist charger, of circular form, the ochre and blue ground with tubelined decoration of stylised waterlilies, possibly designed by Leon Solon and John Wadsworth, with printed marks to base, 15" (38cm) diameter.

Condition Report

Charger with crazing to the glaze, some areas where colour has not taken to the glaze and some darker areas of colour. Mark beneath the glaze above lilies. Tubelining is low in parts and worn, and colour has run. With wire wall attachment to reverse.
