Lot Description

A 1920's small Scottish silver quaich, of plain form and raised upon a short footed base, hallmarked Wilson & Sharp, Edinburgh 1921, length including handles 3.25" (8 cm). Together with a bulbous shape cream jug with wide cylindrical neck and simple scroll handle, hallmarked London 1925, maker's mark MB Ltd., height 3" (7.5 cm). Weight 4.29 ozt (133.4 grams). (2).

Both appear in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing consistent with the age and use. Some edge nicks and nibbles. The quaich with a larger incised mark to one handle. The jug with a split/crack to rim and some dark tarnishing spots and dirt residues to base. Hallmarks to both are clear and legible.
