A small novelty ivory thimble case, modelled as a house with hinged roof opening to reveal a recess containing a silver thimble, raised upon a square base with pierced draw and four compressed bun feet, 3.25" (8cm) high, a small ivory cylindrical box and cover, with pieced foliate and vertical banded decoration, 1.5" (4cm) high, and ivory counting hoops with carved figural terminal, 9.25" (23.5cm) long.
