Lot 6

Lot Description

An Edwardian silver bowl, the circular form with scroll edge rim above ornate chased decoration to the whole depicting a tree-lined landscape with rabbits and a pair of pheasants, surrounding a vacant cartouche with leafy scrolls beneath and raised on three palmette style feet. Hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1904. Height 2.75" (7cm), weight 4.95 ozt (154 grams).

Postage: Postable

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Appears in good overall condition, displaying some expected surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

Some surface rubbing and slight loss of detail to areas of the decoration, particularly the raised parts.

One foot is slightly different to the other two as it has a smooth surface to the underside, rather than a rough slightly indented one.

Hallmarks and maker's mark with rubbing around some edges but all still legible.
