An early George V silver three piece tea service in Regency style, comprising teapot, twin-handled sucrier and cream jug, each of compressed globular form and raised on four bun feet, the applied bead and gadroon rim further embellished with foliate, acorn and shell motifs and floral detail to handles, the teapot with wood scroll handle and a silver bud finial to the inset hinged lid. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1919. Maximum length of teapot 10.75" (27.3 cm), gross weight 46.45 ozt (1444.5 grams).

Condition Report
Appears in good overall condition, displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and light tarnishing, commensurate with age use.
Sugar with a couple of dints to main body, one fairly large. Also likely solder repair at the join of one foot.
A couple of minor dints/bumps to other pieces.
Teapot with heavier staining to interior. Slight seam split to one side of spout. Hinged lid appears in good working order and closes flush.
Interior of sugar and cream gilded but this is now a little faded.
All hallmarks clear and legible with matching part hallmarks to teapot finial and further lion passant to lid.
