<li>Engraved to inside of band and reverse of mount. Engraving possibly reads 'From Simon B Timmons to his affec Father 1856. B A Timmons Obit 18th Nov 1860 AG. 77.'<p>

<li>Band shows evidence of resize, engraving partially obscured.

<li>Agate in good condition with light surface scratches. Small damage to mount.
