Lot Description

A Norwegian silver mustard pot, the cylindrical form with foliate detail to the lower body and raised on three lion feet, the coin inset hinged lid with trailing vine leaf border and further lion thumb-piece, with clear glass liner, marked to base 830S and maker's marks for Marius Hammer (Bergen 1847-1927). Together with various other small continental items to include a Dutch silver circular open salt and a tea strainer with windmill terminal, a modern Italian silver condiment jug of planished tapering form, a small Swedish beaker or cup, date mark for 1965, etc. Various assay marks and dates. Gross weight 11.26 ozt (350.3 grams). (7).
