Lot Description

A cased set of six 1920's silver tea or coffee spoons in Hanoverian style, hallmarked James Carr, Birmingham 1929. Together with an American silver ladle, marked Sterling alongside further mark for International Silver Co., length 8.5" (21.5cm), a modern silver-handled salad spoon in Queens pattern, hallmarked Harrison Brothers, Sheffield 1973, and a Victorian silver-handled bread knife, hallmarked John Sanderson, Sheffield 1899. Weighable silver 5.89 ozt (183.2 grams).

Teaspoons with a few nicks to edges of bowls and stems.

Ladle with some nicks, pitting and scuffing. Bowl knocked and misshapen.

Salad spoon with solder repair to ferrule, and possibly to seam of handle. Bowl is base metal.

Bread knife with some small indentations and nicks. Blade is plated.
