Lot Description
A set of six late Victorian Scottish silver teaspoons, each with Dog-nose terminal and long rat-tail to heel, hallmarked Hamilton & Inches, Edinburgh 1890. Together with a set of Danish silver teaspoons, with foliate scroll engraved stems to a similar Dog-nose terminal, struck with the Three Tower mark dated 1917 and the Assay Master mark for Christian F. Heise (1904-1932). Total weight 5.06 ozt (157.3 grams).

Condition Report
All spoons displaying some tarnishing and general surface wear, marks and scratches.
The Scottish spoons with heavier tarnished/stained marks to bowls and one bowl in particular is partly black. Also some heavier wear around the edges and tips of the bowls. Rat-tails still fairly well defined. Hallmarks clear and legible.
Danish spoons appear in fairly good overall condition. Traces of gilding to bowls. Assay marks mostly clear and legible with some light rubbing. Each also initialled to reverse of terminal. Four of the spoons with a further mark GA alongside the assay marks.
