Lot Description
A modern silver four piece tea service, comprising teapot and coffee pot with hinged lids, a twin-handled sugar bowl with removable lid and a cream jug, each of plain oblong shape with gadroon rim above stepped bulbous body to a footed base raised on four bun feet, the tea and coffee pots with stained wood handles and finials. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Sheffield 1980. Maximum height of coffee pot 8" (20.5cm), total gross weight 70.66 ozt (2,197.8 grams).

Condition Report
All pieces appear in good overall condition, displaying some tarnishing and general light surface wear, marks and scratches.
Hinged lids appear in good working order, although the finials are a little loose.
The removable lid to the sugar bowl appears a good fit.
Hallmarks clear and legible with some light rubbing. Lion passant struck to lids with further date letter to the sugar bowl lid. All with impressed maker's name to base and numbered 1514.
