Lot Description

A modern Scottish silver mounted dirk, the moulded Celtic knot handle with citrine terminal, leading to a steel blade, enclosed by a silver mounted and leather scabbard. Hallmarked Edinburgh 1989, makers mark worn and indistinct. Length 8" (20.5cm).

Silver mounts with scratches, wear, marks and tarnishing. Claw mount for citrine with visible split, and glue residue where claw mount meets handle.
