Lot Description
An early 18th century Irish silver small paten, the plain circular form centrally engraved with the Christogram IHS below a symbol of the Cross. Marked with the Harp Crowned and a date letter, partly worn but probably 1723. Diameter 4.25" (10.8cm), weight 2.15 ozt (67 grams).

Displaying some general wear and tarnishing throughout and many surface scratches, nicks and contact marks, commensurate with the age and use.
Mark of Crowned Harp is still very crisp and clear given the age. Date letter rubbed and partly worn, mainly on one side.
