A 19th century carved ivory okimono, modelled as an aged standing male carrying a young boy upon his back and holding a bamboo staff, upon an oval base, with engraved marks to underside, 6.75" (17cm) high, together with another similar example, upon pierced and carved hardwood stand, ivory 7" (17.75cm) high.
